We've put strollers to the test

We've put strollers to the test

Whether your toddler has grown out of their pram, you need a lightweight travel companion or you just prefer using a stroller no matter how old your baby is - the chances are, we are all going to need a stroller at some point in our parenting lives.

Quick Summary: We've put our heads together and tested out 5 of the top strollers on the market with 'real' mums and their lovely little tots. Here's what our mums thought…

Cosatto Supa

This nifty number is bold and bright and our Mum’s loved the fact it comes with plenty of accessories to keep you going through both the summer and winter months. It handles well and the wheels feel smooth and solid. Our mums loved the large extending hood that can protect baby from the elements in winter and shield them from the bright rays in summer.

UPPAbaby G-Luxe

A stroller built with style and practicality in mind, the G-Luxe looks lovely and is light to push and carry. Our mums loved the unique fold of the G-Luxe which is operated by pulling two ring levers located right at your fingertips on the stroller handlebars. But we must admit, it did take a little getting used to. The comfy seat of the G-Luxe is suitable from 6 months so not quite suited to those wanting to use a stroller from birth.

My Babiie MB51

This fully loaded stroller made our mums smile with its included accessories: the cup holder, apron and rain cover. The unique design of the My Babiie was a winner for some, however, did have a few mums worried about dirty marks from sticky fingers on the light-coloured fabrics! That aside, the basket was a good size and the hood gave excellent coverage too.

Joie Nitro LX

A light and nimble stroller which ticks the box when it comes to being easy to use. Our mums all agreed that this simple, easy folding stroller would be great to pop in and out of the car for quick shopping trips. Although the basket on the Nitro LX was small and tricky to reach but our testers loved the removable bumper bar and adjustable calf rest on this value-for-money set of wheels.

Silver Cross Pop

A quality and lightweight stroller, the Pop was admired by our mums for its quality finish. The stylish design and practical colours scored highly in the looks stakes whilst the large extending hood, comfortable to hold handles, adjustable leg rest, from birth recline and accessible shopping basket also gained the thumbs up from our thorough testers and their tots.
