My Babiie MBX6 Review 2018

My Babiie MBX6 Review 2018

My Babiie has created some pretty lovely collaborations with some of the most influential celeb mummies around. The Dreamie range by Samantha Faiers (whose sister Billie also has a collection with the brand) consists of a string of My Babiie pushchairs and strollers with the television personality's stylish, contemporary designs. The MBX6 is a lightweight, compact buggy with practical features and handy accessories included.

Quick Summary: The MBX6 is an easy-to-use and sleek-looking stroller. It is ready-for-any-eventuality stroller at a really good price.

Whats good?

  • Lightweight
  • Smooth to steer
  • Big hood

Whats not so good?

  • Zip on hood is fiddly
  • Only pushes over smoother surfaces

Things we love

The weight (or lack of!) of this pushchair is the first thing we noticed and loved. It is super-light and very easily lifted from place to place. It has a curvy and smooth silhouette and is definitely one for the fashionistas who don’t fancy the look of your average stroller. All of the functions are easy to use, including the recline, which is operated by a lever on the back of the seat. The recline options are great and our little tester was happy to fall asleep in the seat and stay napping for quite a while so it is obviously quite comfortable.

The fold is small and it is great to have space in the car boot and hallway for other things as well! The fact that the fold is operated with one hand from the handlebar is also convenient as you can easily have baby on your hip and fold the buggy at the same time – perfect when travelling.

Things to look out for

The wheels are small and the front swivel wheels are stopped dead in their tracks by any sudden change in terrain or over rougher ground. If you came across a cobbled street then you might be in a spot of bother! That said, generally the push is nice and smooth and the rear suspension works really well. The hood is great and the extendable panel gives excellent coverage but the zip unzips totally so it is a bit of a fiddle to pinch it all back together to close it up – it would definitely be easier if the zip stayed intact at one end.

Our verdict

The MBX6 is an easy-to-use and sleek-looking stroller. The two available colourways are fun and modern, and ideal for families who like to stay on-trend. The seat is comfortable for baby and on smooth surfaces the push is pleasant for parents too. The included raincover, apron and cupholder give you an all-round, ready-for-any-eventuality stroller at a really good price.
