Quick Summary: Overall, the phil & teds Sport is a good pushchair. It's sturdy and built to last and the fact that it can be used as a single or a double really was one of the main reasons I bought it as well as the fact that it's no bigger than a normal 3 wheeler so there are no problems when getting out and about.

I’m Lisa, I am 30 and I am from Gorleston-on-sea which is in Norfolk. I have four children, Alex 8, Tia 6, Adam 2 and Jamie 1. I have had too many pushchairs to list.
I use the pushchair for at least 3 hours per day walking backwards and forwards on school runs as my oldest two are in school full-time. When buying a pushchair I look for all terrain as I do a variety of walking from pavements to woodlands. I also like to read reviews to see what others have to say as it’s always good to hear other people’s views.
My pushchair
I bought my phil & teds Sport from Kiddicare. It was a couple of years ago now can’t remember the exact price but it was reduced because it had no box and a slight nick in the handle, but the reduction was too good to miss for such minor issues.
I bought the Sport because I needed a double for my youngest two children who are 15 months apart. I considered various other doubles but this one had the option of being a single too which I find useful when the oldest of the two younger children when he has a day where he can manage walking.
I like the fact that this pushchair can be used as a single or a double as mentioned previously. I really like the cosyness of the pushchair when it’s in baby and toddler mode. The Cocoon was a good buy as it is fantastic for transferring a sleeping baby from the pushchair without disturbing.
It has a very good brake which is hard to get on and off in my opinion but that’s a good thing. It has an adjustable handle which is also good because my husband is slightly taller therefore he likes to have it slightly higher. The only problem I have found is that despite having the mud guards over the wheels, my youngest has still managed to put his hands in the wheels a few times. I have now clipped toys onto the seat to occupy him.
I would like to see the handle be a little stronger. It’s adjustability is a good thing but the downside is that when more pressure is applied, when going up and down kerbs, it could do with being a bit sturdier. Also I would like the fabric area in the footrest to have stronger stitching as mine is coming away slightly but I do believe the newer version has a plastic guard on the footrest which is a bonus.
